How we handle your information.
Anyway Ventures Ltd is the data controller for this website and for enquiries made through it. This notice is written to be read; the short version is that we collect the minimum, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect
Information you give us when you enquire — name, organisation, email and what you write — and standard server logs. Google Analytics runs in a cookieless, restricted mode unless you accept cookies, in which case it and (on some pages) the LinkedIn Insight Tag collect information about how you use this site; see the cookies page.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to scope and deliver work you ask for, and to keep records we're legally required to keep. We do not sell or share your information for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Legal basis
Legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you have made), performance of a contract (once we're engaged), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Engagement records are kept for six years after the work ends, in line with UK statutory requirements.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run the business — website hosting and form handling (Netlify), email hosting, accounting software, analytics providers (Google, LinkedIn — only with your consent) and, during an engagement, the bench members working on your project under NDA. All are bound by contract and processed under UK GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing the address below. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
